Tamales de pipian



                                                                    TAMALES  DE  PIPIAN 
                                                                    
                                                                        (Cooking 20 minutes)    
DESCRIPTION:

This food is originaly from Departament of Cauca. It is a typical food of the region of the south of Colombia. This food is very delicious. I prefer to eat tamales de pipian

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup chooped rip  tomato

1/2 cup thinly sliced scallion or green onion

1/2 cup finely chooped onion

1 crushed clove garlic

1/8 cup finely chooped green or red bell pepper

2 finely chooped sweet  chili (opcional)

1/8 tablespoon ground cumin

Saffron or food color salt and pepper to taste

3 tablespoon vegetal oil

PREPARATION:

In a saucepan heat oil over medium. Saute the onion for a five minutes until it is golden and transparent add all the ingredients. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly until a smooth sauce is obtained (20 minutes approximately)

ANECDOTE:

When I ate for first time this food I felt very strange because this food knew me very rarely. I don't like it. My friends were looking at me and I didn't know that to say. I was very bad. I didn't want to  feel me this way, but I was not possible because they all were looking at me and were laughing.
